MicroKote is a nutrient supplement for container- grown plants designed to improve root development and provide micronutrients as the root system grows along the container surface. MicroKote can be used at any stage of plant production from seedlings to large trees.
MicroKote is applied directly to the inside surfaces of nursery containers. Do not apply MicroKote to the soil or plants.
MicroKote is not intended to replace micronutrients in nursery soil mixes or other fertilizer products.
Storage Instructions Store in cool, dry place. Store above 32•F and protect from freezing.

Application Instructions:
Nursery containers should be clean and dry before applying MicroKote. Used containers do not need to be perfectly clean but should be free of any loose soil. Shake or stir MicroKote well before use.
Apply MicroKote undiluted unless material is too thick to be applied with spray paint equipment. MicroKote can be mixed with water up to 25% of the total volume being diluted.
Spray: Apply an even coating of MicroKote to the inner surfaces of plastic containers using conventional spray paint equipment.
Brush, Sponge or Painters mit: Apply an even coating of MicroKote to the inner surfaces of plastic containers using a conventional brush, sponge or painters mit.
Through coverage with one application is sufficient to provided supplemental micronutrients to container-grown plants. Allow MicroKote to dry on containers for 30 to 60 minutes under good drying conditions before stacking or filling with soil. MicroKote is thoroughly dry when it changes from a dark to a light red color. When restacking coated containers, do not push containers tightly together so that they are easy to unstack when used at a later time. Coated containers can be stored in a dry place for 2 years.
